Chrissy Teigen Went Off On John Legend On Twitter & It Was Hilarious

2019 Baby2Baby Gala Presented By Paul Mitchell - Inside

Husbands, here's a tip: If you're having a dinner at your home, please make sure your spouse knows all the details about said dinner, or you'll end up like John Legend— hilariously shammed on Twitter.

Chrissy Teigen did not hold back on Twitter Tuesday night (December 17) when she went into a hilarious Twitter tirade after learning that her husband, John, invited his fellow The Voice coaches over to their house for the show's finale dinner without telling her.

"I didn’t know tonight was the voice finale. John invited everyone to dinner at the house after and I’m really f**king mad because I didn’t make a f**king FINALE meal," Chrissy wrote, noting that she knew the coaches were coming, but didn't know not that it was a dinner for the show's finale. "I would have gotten a cake or something too?? Who the f**k does this? U don’t win the voice then eat short ribs."

"It sounds dumb yes but this is VERY john," she continued. "I am always in charge of doing the fun, extra sh*t and he has no idea how much I plan normally and he’s like 'no it’s fine they just wanna have dinner' but it’s literally the finale of their show??? And I have no ice cream truck."

Chrissy then acknowledged that while her reaction may seem over the top, it's not every day you have Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Kelly Clarkson over for dinner. "if u think this is stupid go ahead and tell me what you made when Blake Kelly and Gwen came over to your house," she quipped.

Chrissy followed-up said tweet by asking for ice cream company Salt & Straw's help, but when they didn't respond, she continued her hilarious Twitter rant, this time sharing a screenshot of her texting conversation with John.

"Why wouldn't you plan something? I cannot plan every fun thing in your life for you," she wrote to her husband, who responded in seconds.

"They want to come over and have dinner with us. They don't expect us to entertain them with something elaborate," John replied.

However, Chrissy still wasn't having it and she hilariously responded: "No one is going to want to come sit and have dinner. We don't have a cake or anything. That's why you aren't good at anything." While she noted in her caption of the tweet that she was "serious," she also said she was "laughing but [...] f**king pissed."

The saga continued with Chrissy tweeting, "IT IS THEIR SHOW FINALE why does he not know how to be extra. if they show up in their show clothes I will absolutely die in my robe."

A person then called Chrissy out for ruining the show's finale, however, Chrissy clarified that her concerns about her last-minute finale dinner were not spoilers. "no if they’re all coming that means the winner is coming. I hope it’s john ONLY because I have no cake and anyone else would deserve cake. I hate him," she wrote.

After a few more tweets of her making itveryclear that she didn't know who won the show, Chrissy shared videos of her in her SKIMS robe — seemingly random, but in the world of Chrissy Teigen, it was actually on brand. She then posted a final clip of her many last-minute ordered treats from Milk Bar before revealing that John also showed up with dessert — an entire Milk Bar cake that read "John's 'Solution' Cake — 10 minutes after her treats had already arrived.

"omfg I ordered like 5 milk bar cakes before john’s one cake got here from the SAME place and he thinks he is some f**king hero," Chrissy captioned the video.

The saga finally ended with John and Chrissy sharing a photo from their star-studded dinner party with Chrissy in the center of the photo, in, of course, her SKIMS robe. "Our dinner party went off without a hitch and was far less uncomfortable than that of Michael Scott and Jan. And there was cake," John tweeted.
